Last year, the Clothing Bank distributed more than $750,000 worth of clothing to over 6,000 men, women and children, who came in and made their own selections. Together with the Department of Human Services and Career Link, the Clothing Bank also supports the PA Workwear Program, which makes business attire available when job opportunities come.
Clothing donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 3:30 pm and by appointment at 27 W. Clay Street. Particular needs are new socks and underwear for men, women, and children. Bedding, towels and new pillows are always welcome.
The Clothing Bank is in need of the following: Men’s coats, pants, jeans, boots, shoes and socks of all sizes and underwear sizes 28 to 42; women’s tops XL, coats plus sizes, socks and underwear sizes 5 to 8; girls’ and boys’ shoes, coats, pants, tops and socks of all sizes.
Please note that the clothing drop off is on Clay Street. Double glass doors with a blue sign indicates the proper door. Street parking at this door is an official loading zone for this purpose. Clothing donation hours are Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
